Issue #70 - "Navigating the Others"

*Previously on Blu the Monkey*

Mint, Blu's old friend, joined Blu to find Biff the Hyena Alpha. Once they find him, he has no idea about the kidnappings, or so they think. We last saw Biff talking to a mysterious voice telling him to "Release the Owl".

Lola: "BLU! Finally, you are back. Where have you been?"

Blu: "On a little mission. Lola, Bluberry, Remy, it is great to see you but why are you here?"

Lola: "I have bad news. Your sister, Strawberry, your pet, Hiss, and the other pets have been kidnapped. By a pink Hyena! "

Blu: "Oh no! I knew Hyenas had something to do with the kidnappings!"

Lemon: "Blu, like you have a visitor."




Blu: "Who could be here? CHEEP! IT IS YOU! YOU ESCAPED! What happened? Who did this? Where are the others? Talk to me!!"

Cheep: "Who is Cheep? Who are you?"

Blu: "What? I am Blu! Your best friend. You don't remember anything? Come inside right away."







Blu: "Everybody give him space! Now drink this. Tell us everything you remember."

Cheep: "I don't remember anything. Where am I? Who are you people?"

Ruby: "He has amnesia."

Cheep: "Who is amnesia?"

Lola: "He can't remember anything!"

Blu: "Lemon, go get some pillows and a blanket. He needs sleep. Maybe he will remember later."



Blu: "I need to bring Cheep on an adventure with me to find the others. If he can remember any details at all, we might be able to track them down. But I will need some help from the best tracker I know."

*Video Calls on Laptop*

Voice: "Blu, it is you! How have you been?"

Blu: "Not so good. I need your help. Where can I find you?"

Voice: "We are currently at the ski lifts."

Later...

Blu: "Look, we are almost at the ski lodge. Excuse me, have you seen a reindeer and a wolf with a chicken hat?"

Cheep: "What's a chicken?"

Seal: "Ya, they are the loud couple over there on the top of the hill."

Blu: "Thank you."



Maple: "Lets race. I bet I can beat you to the bottom."

Chuck: "We will see about that."

Blu: "Chuck and Maple, it is great to see that you are still your normal selves!"

Maple: "Blu, you made it!"

Blu: "I need your navigating skills. I will explain what is going on while we walk. Lets go!




Chuck: "Don't worry, we will find the others."

Blu: "Cheep remembers seeing big rocks. There are a lot of big rocks at the Crystal Sands pathway. Can you take us there first, Chuck?"

Chuck: "Absolutely! I have great navigation skills. Follow me into this cave tunnel. You will be seeing the sunny sand beaches of Crystal Sands at the end."

Maple: "This should be interesting."

At the end of the tunnel...

Blu: "Ya, this isn't Crystal Sands."

Maple: "Look out! A pack of wild lynxes!"

Chuck: "Oops, that must of been the wrong tunnel."

Maple: "They are surrounding us..."

Blu: "There is too many. We are trapped."

Issue #69 - "Mission with Mint"

*Previously on Blu the Monkey*

Strawberry, Grape, Hiss, and Trixie are kindapped by a Pink Hyena at the Friendship Festival. Remy, Lola, Bluberry, with the help of Pearl, retrace Blu's steps to find him and tell him the news. Finally, they reach the Alpha Headquarters and await his return.

Lola: "Ruby the Rhino Alpha? Is that you? I haven't seen you in ages!"

Ruby: *breathes heavily* "Yes, it is me, Blu and I were just on a mission at the Dance Party."

Lola: "Where is Blu? We need to desperately talk to him! His sister and pets have been kidnapped!"

Ruby: "Not again! Another kidnapping! This is not good. Blu went on a walk. He has been under a lot of stress lately with all of these kidnappings."

Lola: "Hopefully he gets back soon."

Blu: "I can't believe what is going on. Why are all these kidnappings happening? Who is behind all of this? Jamaa isn't the place it used to be. I miss my friends, Plum, and my parents. I feel so alone."

Kangaroo: "You're not alone. That snake behind you is about ready to eat you."

Blu: "Huh?!" *jumps out of the way* "Hey, Mint? Is that you?!?!"

Mint: ?You are absolutely correct, Blu ol' pal!" 

Blu: ?Mint! You have to help me. Everyone I know has been kidnapped, and for some reason I think Hyenas are behind it! Do you know where the Biff the Hyena Alpha lives?"

Mint: "I don't have a clue, and I am a great detective!"

Falcon: "Hyena Alpha you say? I have a friend who is a hyena, and he told me where he lives."

Blu: "Wow, can nobody have a private conversation around here?! First the snake and now a falcon."

Mint: "Shh.. He knows where to go!"

Falcon: "Your kangaroo friend is right. Go straight up that cliff and at the top you will find the Hyena Badlands. The Biff the Hyena Alpha lives there."

Mint: "Sounds dangerous."

Blu: "Sounds like an adventure!"

Meanwhile...

Biff: "Did you get the kid and pets?" 

Hyena: "Yes, it has been done."

Biff: "Good, the boss will love to hear that. Now go, quickly, I hear someone climbing up the cliff!"

Blu: *gasps for air* "Woah, that was a steep cliff. The view of Jamaa looks great from up here. It looks so peaceful."

Mint: "Yes, but we must keep going."

Blu: "I wish my friends were here to see this."

Mint: "Well, you have one friend right here. Now lets go find Biff!"

Biff: "You two look like you have come a long way to get here. What do you need?"

Blu: "Hello, Biff the Hyena Alpha. I am Blu the Monkey Alpha. Maybe you have heard of me? I replaced Graham the Monkey. Recently, there have been a lot of kidnappings, and we believe that hyenas could be behind it. Have you seen or heard anything?"

Biff: "Not a thing. If I do, I will let you know. Good luck."

Later....

Blu: "I really thought that Biff the Hyena would know what was going on. I just had a feeling."

Mint: "Don't give up hope, pal. Things will start to look your way. I guarantee it."

Blu: "Thanks, Mint. Do you need a place to stay? There is plenty of room at the Alpha Headquarters."

Mint: "No thanks. However, if you ever need my help again, I will definitely work with you. You know who to call."

Blu: "Thanks, Mint."

Biff: "One of my Hyenas have captured more of Blu's family."

Voice: "Good work. It is time to release the owl."

Biff: "But, boss. Why would we--"

Voice: "Release. The. Owl."

Issue #68 - "Friendship Festival"

*Previously on Blu the Monkey*

Ruby, Blu, Lemon, and Mrs. Bow found a new location base at the Alpha Headquarters. Blu and Ruby went to the Dance Party to look for possible clues of a kidnapping there. As a matter of fact, they did find a clue: Hyena Fur.

Lola: "The Friendship Festival is a grrreat way to take your mind off of Blu!"

Strawberry: "Valentine's Day isn't my thing. I would much rather skateboard or find bugs."

Lola: "Now, everyone needs to get in the spirit because it is festival time!"

Hyena: "Excuse me! I work here at the Festival, could I have a couple of you help me with this big card. It is heavy!"

Strawberry: "YES! Anything is better than crafts."

Lola: "I am sure the pets won't mind helping you too! I will stay here with Bluberry."

Hyena: "Great, it might take a while. This card is huge!"

Hyena: "GET IN THE CARD NOW!"

Strawberry: "What?!"

Hyena: "You heard me! GET IN THE CARD!"

Strawberry: "You can't make us do anything!"

Hyena: "GRRR!" *barks*

Grape: *whines* *whimpers*

Strawberry: "Okay, just don't hurt us! Get in the card pets."

Hyena: "HEY! GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE HAMSTER!"

Remy: *squeak* *squeak* *squeak*

Lola: "Calm down, Remy! What is the matter? Where are the others? Ugh! I don't understand hamster."

Pearl: "Sorry to bother you, but did I hear you say hamster? I know how to speak hamster! And duck, cat, mouse--"

Lola: "GRRREAT! What is he saying?"

Pearl: *gulp* "He says the others have been kidnapped by a pink hyena."

Lola: "We need to tell Blu right away!"

Lola: "I can't believe you know Blu!"

Pearl: "Yes, I brought him to Professor Salem. He needed help finding the kidnapped victims."

Lola: "Well, if we find Blu, we can tell him more have been kidnapped!"

Salem: "Hello there. Did you need something?"

Lola: "Do you know where Blu the Monkey is?"

Salem: "Last time I saw him, he was headed for the Conservation Museum."

Lola: "TELL ME WHERE HE IS, SPEC!"

Spec: "Nice to see you again, Lola, and may I say that is a nice tutu."

Lola: "Enough chit-chat, where is he?"

Spec: "Let me down, dumb tiger, and I will tell you."

*drops Spec*

Spec: "I heard him say that we was going to check out the Medival Party. That is all I know. Is that Blu's son?"

Lola: "Yes, and you will not lay a fin on him!"

Pearl: "Well, that little monkey is not here either."

Lola: "We have hit a dead end. We will never be able to tell him that some of the pets and his sister were kidnapped."

Bluberry: "Daddy. Daddy."

Lola: "Bluberry? Did you say daddy? Look Bluberry found Blu hairs! It is the winter season, and Blu's hair sometimes sheds more! Follow those hairs!"

Later...

Lola: "...and so we followed the hairs to Ruby's office, and there was a sign there saying you moved to this new location, so we found you here."

Lemon: "Omg. That sounds like a long story. You can like stay here if you want like it's fine."

Lola: "Awesome! Thanks for your help, Pearl, by the way. I am going to call Crow and Magenta to tell them what is going on."

Pearl: "No problem, but now I must go on my way! I hope you find Blu and whoever is kidnapping everyone in Jamaa!"

Issue #67 - "Alpha Headquarters"

*Previously on Blu the Monkey*

Blu searched for clues at the Medieval Party, and ended up finding Mrs. Bow, an old neighbor. Her husband was kidnapped! After escaping a fearsome (not really) dragon, Mrs. Bow is taking Blu to friend that she thinks can help!

Mrs. Bow: I know just who can help us! Her office is just through this pathway.

Blu: So, who do you think can help us?

Mrs. Bow: The one and only Ruby the Rhino Shaman. The Alpha of the Rhinos.

Blu: RUBY THE RHINO! She is an old friend of mine! How do you know where her office is? I don't even know, and I am an Alpha!

Mrs. Bow: All the rhinos know where her office is. She is our leader.

Blu: True.



Llama: *chews gum* Welcome to Ruby the Rhino's office. How may I help you?

Mrs. Bow: How do you work here? Your'e not a rhino, you are a llama.

Llama: *pops bubblegum* I am the new intern. My name is Lemon by the way. Like can I help with something lol?

Blu: Yes, we would like to speak with Ruby.

Lemon: She is right inside. Omg, you are Blu the Monkey alpha. Can you follow me on Instagrrrram?

Ruby: Blu the Monkey! I haven't seen you since you stopped Mr. Blek eight years ago! Do you like being an Alpha?

Blu: Well, not at the moment. If you have heard the news, there have been kidnappings all around Jamaa, including the other alphas and Mrs. Bow's husband. We came here to see if you could help us.

Ruby: Of course; however, there isn't enough room to start an investigation in my office. We are going to need a new location.

Blu: You know what, I think I know just the place.

Ruby: Lemon, pack your bags! You will like my secretary Lemon, once you get to know her. She is still just a teenager.

Blu: Welcome to the Alpha Headquarters. These are the offices of all of the Alphas: me, Plum, Violet, Sly, Skal, and Cheep.

Ruby: Fantastic! It is so big!

Lemon: *gasps* I need to Snapcat this right now!!

Blu: Okay, we must get to work right away. The next place on the map is the Dance Party. Ruby, lets go, and Mrs. Bow you stay here and set up Lemon as our new secretary.

Later...

Blu: IT IS SO LOUD IN HERE! I CAN'T HERE ANYTHING!

Ruby: WHAT?

Blu: I KNOW! LETS SEE IF THE KIDNAPPER LEFT ANY CLUES. YOU LOOK BY THE DJ TABLE AND I WILL LOOK OVER BY THE FOOD AND SEATING AREA.

Ruby: WHAT?

Blu: Hey, the music stopped! Did you turn it off?

Ruby: No, Blu, I thought you did.

Blu: Nope, but look what I found. It is a clump of fur! I wonder what kind of fur it is.

Ruby: I have seen that fur before on the Appondale savanna. That is no ordinary fur, that is... Hyena Fur.

Issue #66 - "Medieval Mayhem"

*Previously on Blu the Monkey*

Blu was given a map by a wise Professor Salem that shows where the kidnappings have taken place. Now, Blu is on a mission to check for clues at all of the kidnapping locations to find out who is behind it all!

Blu: Holy Bananas! This Medieval Party is really crowded. Time to look for clues. Hmm... this giant knight armor looks suspicious.


Voice: *whispers* psssst! pssst! Over here!


Blu: What was that? Hello? It sounds like it is coming from the basement. I better go check it out.





Blu: Hello? Is anybody down here? It seems to be a storage basement for all of the props and party decorations.

Mrs. Bow: Blu! Blu the Monkey! You have come to save me!

Blu: Mrs. Bow? My old neighbor? What are you doing down here?

Mrs. Bow: My husband, Mr. Bow, and I came here, but now he is missing! I'm afraid he has been kidnapped! Shhhh! Someone is coming, get in here!

Blu: He was kidnapped! Oh no!

Mrs. Bow: Shh! Someone is right outside!

Polar Bear: Hello? *turns on lamp* Anyone down here? Hmm.. *walks away*

Blu: Okay, listen to me, we have to get out of this party!

Mrs. Bow: I know a place where we will be safe, come on!!







Blu: This is not the exit, is it?

Mrs. Bow: *gulp* No. Is that what I think it is?

Blu: A. DRAGON. EGG.

*CRACK! Egg begins to hatch*

Mrs. Bow: What do we do? What do we do?!

Blu: Calm down. Everyone know that Jamaasian Dragons love bananas as much as monkeys do!

*throws banana*

Blu: NOW RUN!

As Blu and Mrs. Bow run, the dragon awakens and eats the banana. It turns out to be a pink baby dragon.

Dragon: ^-^

Blu: I am glad we made it out of there alive. That dragon could have burned our tails off!


Mrs. Bow: Thanks for the help, Blu. Now, let us go to a safe place to regroup and seek help.


Blu: Don't worry, Mrs. Bow, I will find your husband.


Mrs. Bow: And I know just who can help us.

Issue #65 - "Birds' Eye View"

*Previously on Blu the Monkey*

After Blu's parents' funeral, the Alphas were kidnapped when taking a walk in the forest. Blu found a note that was simply signed "0" where they disappeared. Now, he is on a journey to find his friends! However, he was picked up by a sneaky falcon named Flurry.

Flurry: Great, we made it. Hurry now, get inside this cave. You don't know who is watching us, there are eyes everywhere.

Blu: Why would I go in that cave with you?!

Flurry: Do you want to get kidnapped like your friends, the other alphas?

Blu: How do you know about my friends?

Flurry: I will explain everything, just come inside.







Flurry: I would like you to meet my wife, Pearl, and my son, Willow.

Pearl: Take a cookie, I made them fresh from the oven. They are mouse-flavored.

Blu: No thank you, I'm full. (Yuck!)

Flurry: Jamaa is not the place you once knew. You may have stopped Mr. Blek, but there are far more evil villains and baddies. Recently, there have been a lot of kidnappings, including your friends, which is why Jamaa needs your help. Pearl will take you to Professor Salem in the morning, for now get some rest.

The Next Morning...

Pearl: Professor Salem will help you. She has one of the smartest bird brains in Jamaa. Here we are.

Blu: You never mentioned her house was on a cliff. *gulp* That is a long way down.

Pearl: There she is. Good luck on your journey to once again save Jamaa, Blu. Good-bye!

Salem: DRAT! That darn "m" keeps falling off of my sign. Oh, hello there little monkey. WAIT, you are Blu the Monkey, one of the new Alphas!

Blu: Yes, nice to meet you. I need your help. My friends were kidnapped, and all that was left was a letter signed "O". I was told you could help me.

Salem: Yes, I can. Your case sounds different than the other kidnappings around Jamaa because the kidnapper left a note. Let me see.. I think I know just what can help you.
Here we are! Inside this chest is a map of all the places where the kidnappings have happened. Maybe you can retrace the places and find clues that will lead you to the kidnapper.

Blu: Sounds like a plan. Thanks, Salem! The first place on the map is the Conservation Museum.

Later...

Blu: Spec?! What are you doing here?

Spec: For your information, stupid monkey, I work here! Now, what do you want?!

Blu: Oh, nothing. I just need to look around. Is that okay?

Spec: I should kick you out for what you did to my uncle!

Blu: I should put you in jail for what you did.

Spec: Fine, you have one hour. -.-

One Hour Later...

Spec: Your hour is up. Get out!

Blu: Hold on, I think I found something! Look if you stand on these two paw prints at the same time, they light up and a secret door opens up.

*Door Opens Up from the Ground*

Blu: Cool! Let's go!

Spec: Urgh! Come back here you monkey!

Blu: How did we end up at the Appondale Pet Store? Why would there be a secret entrance leading here? Who created the secret entrance?

Spec: I DON'T KNOW! I am going back to the Museum. Good riddance, Blu the Monkey!

Blu: He was a bit crabby today! Anyways, it looks like there are no clues here. I guess I will go to my next destination on the map: The Medieval Party! This can't be good...

Issue #64 - "Return of Blu"

Welcome to Season 2 of Blu the Monkey! The Animal Jam Sky Blog is proud to present the return of our favorite little monkey plushie. Enjoy readers!

1 Year Later...

Lola: I'm so sorry to hear about your parents passing, Blu. Their pictures over there are beautiful. If you don't mind me asking what happened?

Blu: We don't really know. They went missing, and are no where to be found. The Jamaasian Police Department thought they might have been attacked by a group of wolves. *cries*

Lola: Bonnie and Berry were good animals. We will surely miss them.

Plum: Thanks for coming, Lola. Come on Blu. Let's take a walk with the other alphas.






Sly: The funeral went well today, and wow, what a beautiful day for a walk!

Blu: It's not a beautiful day! MY PARENTS ARE GONE!

Plum: Hey guys, can we have some alone time?

Violet: Sure, we will wait in the woods. Take as much time as you need.









Blu:  I miss them already, Plum. I didn't mean to yell at Sly like that.

Plum: I know. It is healthy to let it out though. Blu, I think you deserve a vacation, maybe we will take a vacation with Bluberry, Hiss, Remy, and Grape.

Blu: We are alphas now Plum, we don't take vacations. I need some time to think... alone.

Plum: Okay, I will be in the woods with the others when you are ready to go back home.

*One Hour Later...*

Blu: Hey guys, I am ready to go home. I think I really cleared my mind. Sorry for yelling at you Sly, I guess I just--

Sly? Plum? Alphas? Where did you all go?!

What is this? A letter!

*Later that day...*

Lola: Blu?! What is the matter?

Blu: I need you to take Bluberry, Strawberry, and the pets to your house where they will be safe. Now.

Lola: What is going on?

Blu: The Alphas are missing. I have to find them. I don't know who did this. I don't know when I will be back home.

Lola: Ok, but be careful, Blu. We love you, and if you need our help, we are one call away.

Strawberry: Good luck, brother.

All of the sudden a Falcon swoops down and picks up Blu with its sharp talons.

Blu: LET ME DOWN! WHO ARE YOU? WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME?

Flurry: Relax, Blu. My name is Flurry.

Blu: HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?! DID YOU TAKE MY FRIENDS?

Flurry: All these questions will be answered in time. For now, relax we have a long flight ahead of us.
